The Airport Express of the Beijing Subway is an express rail line that runs from Dongzhimen to the Beijing Capital International Airport northeast of the city. This express line has only four stops: Dongzhimen (with transfers to Lines 2 and 13), Sanyuanqiao (with transfers to Line 10), and Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of the Capital Airport. The line entered operation on July 19, 2008. Construction began in 2005. Most of the 27-km of tracks are on the surface, except for a 4-km segment between Dongzhimen and Sanyuanqiao, minor crossings underneath existing railways lines and the terminal connection within the airport.
FareThe one-way flat fare on the Airport Express cost ¥25. It is the only line not subject to the ¥2 flat fare. Hours of OperationThe first airport-bound train departs from Dongzhimen at 6:00am; the last train leaves at 10:30pm. The first city-bound train departs Terminal 3 at 6:21am and Terminal 2 at 6:35am. The last train to leave the airport departs Terminal 3 at 10:51pm and Terminal 2 at 11:10pm. For official schedule, see [1].
