Allansford is a town in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. It is in the City of Warrnambool local government area. The Post Office opened on January 1, 1860 2

The railway though the town was opened in 1890,3 and the town was once served by a local railway station. At the 2001 census, Allansford had a population of 531.1

A business park for Warrnambool is planned for the area.4

The town has an Australian Rules football team competing in the Warrnambool & District Football League.
