Alluvion a legal term which describes the increase in the area of land due to sediment (alluvium) which is deposited by a river. This changes the size of a piece of land (a process called accession) and thus its value over time.
Alluvion. Rock band created by James Kimble. The music falls under the rock category drawing on influences from a variety of bands from Smashing Pumpkins to Radiohead to Mike Oldfield. The music has a strong guitar influence but also incorporates string elements as well. Alluvion has released one official album, Lines Through the Sun, in 2005. An official album still in the works that is the pre-release to Lines Through the Sun is "Circles Around the Moon." The third album due for release is "Your Role in an Atomic Universe." Alluvion is still active and works out of Frankfort, KY.
