Hailsham Community College is the only secondary school in Hailsham. The school is a dual specialist Sports College and Business and Enterprise College. The majority of children from the primary schools in Hailsham go on to study at Hailsham Community College^{citation needed}. Hailsham Community College consists of a secondary school for pupils aged 11-16 and then a Sixth Form College for students aged 16-18.

Hailsham Community College has 4 buildings, a main block, science block, craft block and youth block, as well as an extensive sports hall which was recently added.

The school is split up in to five different houses, Torvill, Jackson, Bannister, Grey Thompson and Redgrave.
