The Louth by-election, 1921 was a by-election held on 22nd September 1921 for the British House of Commons constituency of Louth in Lincolnshire.
The seat had become vacant on the death on 8 August of the Liberal Member of Parliament (MP) Thomas Wintringham. He had been elected at a by-election in 1920.
The Liberal candidate was Margaret Wintringham, widow of the late MP. She won the by-election with a small majority, becoming only the second woman to take her seat in the House of Commons, and the first female Liberal MP. She was re-elected at the 1922 general election, and held the seat until her defeat at the 1924 general election.
