Louvre Rivoli is a station of the Paris Métro. It is near the Louvre and Rue de Rivoli. It was first opened in 1900, under the name Louvre.

In 1968, the platforms in this station were decorated with replicas of ancient art from the Louvre Museum. It was the first metro station to become culturally decorated. In 1989, the station was renamed to its current name of Louvre-Rivoli when direct access to the museum became available at the next station, Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre (Paris Métro).1
