Nam Cheong Station is an MTR station in Hong Kong, on the Tung Chung Line and West Rail Line. The livery of Nam Cheong Station is pale yellow green.

Located to the west of Nam Cheong Estate and east of the West Kowloon Highway, Nam Cheong Station is built as Hong Kong's first fully-integrated station with MTR commuter rail (formerly known as KCR) and urban metro lines, as opposed to Kowloon Tong, Tsim Sha Tsui, or Mei Foo interchanges between two fare systems which are separate stations that are conveniently linked to each other.

This station provides cross-platform interchanges between Platform 1 (West Rail Line to Tuen Mun) and Platform 4 (Tung Chung Line to Hong Kong). The wall between the two platforms was not linked together until 28th September 2008 (MTR Fare Zones Merger). However, only series of passageway are built between them; one of the more grand passage is aligned with the fifth and sixth wagons on the Hong Kong-bound trains on the Tung Chung Line side. It will provide the passengers limited sensation of open area like a cross-platform transfer should. The reason being that the wall is not completly removed is because it would cost lots of money and longer time to complete the project.

Before the fare zones merger, passengers wishing to change from one line to another must first cross gates (ticket barriers) to reach the paid area of another fare system.

The Airport Express line passes between the tracks of Tung Chung Line without stopping at this station.

A public transport interchange, located to the east of the station, allows for easy and convenient transfers to other modes of public transport.

Nam Cheong Station was built by a joint venture between Balfour Beatty and Zen Pacific.1

Although this station is on ground level, platform screen doors are still fitted.

All 4 platforms are located at ground level. The West Rail Line platforms are completely covered, creating the illusion that they are still underground.

The platforms are curve because they were built on existing railways. However, the gaps are not very large.

Before the merge of fare systems on 28 September 2008, Octopus Card users transferring between West Rail Line and Tung Chung Line had to use the Transfer Gates separating fare areas of MTR urban lines and West Rail Line. Once the card is placed on the reader, the first section of journey fare will be deducted and passenger can walk over to the other fare area. If one accidentally went to the wrong area by mistake, one must exit through the exit gates of current area (not the Transfer Gates) within 15 minutes or an extra fare will be charged.
