Nosimo Zisiwe Beauty Balindlela (born 28 November 1949) was the Premier of the Provincial Government of the Eastern Cape in South Africa from 26 April 2004 until 1 August 2008.

In July 2008, Balindlela resigned from her position as premier after pressure from the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress, of which she is a member; this was seen as a result of Balindlela being allied with Thabo Mbeki, who had stepped down from the ANC presidency following his defeat by Jacob Zuma at the previous year's national conference, while the NEC attributed it to incompetence. Balindlela also subsequently resigned from "active" politics - however she still remained an active ANC PEC member

Both her "sacking" and that of the neighboring Western Cape's ANC premier Ebrahim Rasool were announced on the same day, with even more sackings of other provincial premiers anticipated. Her own resignation from the position of Premier (and also from active politics) also came after the release of the Pillay Commission's report, which had implicated high profile ANC members in a corruption scandal.

Her successor, Mbulelo Sogono, was sworn in on 1 August 2008. She resigned from the ANC on November 4 of that year to join the Congress of the People.
