At this time, Disney have produced well over 100 films through their studios and also under the label of other studios such as Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood Pictures. Many of these are critically acclaimed and very popular, including classic animated movies such as Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. More recently they have founded websites such as Go.com; and also television channels such as the Disney Channel.
In addition to their televisual success, a large amount of theme parks have been opened, not only in America, but, for example, in France and Hong Kong as well. These include Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park among others. The Walt Disney Company currently owns interest in eleven theme parks world wide.
