This template allows lines from underlying articles to pass through it. I'm not exactly sure why so I can't fix it, but it's quite an obvious flaw. -- drrngrvy tlk @ 16:26, 26 August 2006 (UTC) Too longThis template seems far too long. I feel it is useful to have all the links readily available, but i'm not happy with the aesthetics of it, both on it's own and the way it can mess up the formatting of it's host page. This issue came up as I was thinking that the template ought to be added to the impedance article (one of the few listed that doesn't include the template). There is an illustration of the complex impedance plane at the top of the page and adding this template causes issues with the positioning of the image. A possible solution is to have something like the Template:Thermodynamic equations, that expands the section related to the current article. I have created a trial version of this at Template:Electromagnetism2. Note that several of the topic header links will take you to subpages of my user page; this is for testing purposes. I initially created the new template on my user subpage, but I think it has to be a Template: page before it can be called as a template (someone correct me if i'm wrong). There is a formatting problem with the expanded lists; an extra space between the first and second items in the list. I will keep playing with this but if anyone who has more knowledge about this than me wants to get involved, that would be appreciated. --DJIndica 01:57, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
